1. Overview
This Privacy Policy explains how FlipRed ("FlipRed," "we," or "us") collects, uses, and shares information when you use our platform, websites, and services (the "Service"). It applies to information about our customers and their authorized users, and to data our customers provide to us.
2. Information we collect
We collect: (a) account information you provide, such as name, work e-mail, phone number, job title, and organization; (b) Customer Data you upload or generate in the Service, such as voter files, contact lists, campaign messaging, and project context; (c) usage and device information, such as log data, IP address, browser type, and how you interact with the Service; and (d) communications you send us.
3. How we use information
We use information to provide, operate, secure, and support the Service; to generate the modeling, drafting, and analytics you request; to communicate with you; to detect and prevent fraud and abuse; to comply with legal obligations; and to improve the Service. We process Customer Data on your behalf and in accordance with your instructions and your agreement with us.
4. Voter and constituent data
When you upload voter files or similar data, you act as the controller of that data and FlipRed acts as your processor and service provider. We use such data only to provide the Service to you and as instructed by you, not for our own independent purposes. You are responsible for ensuring you have the legal right to provide that data and to use it for your purposes.
5. AI and model training
We do not sell Customer Data, and we do not use your Customer Data to train models that are made available to other customers, except where data has been aggregated or de-identified so that it does not identify you or any individual. We may use aggregated or de-identified data to operate, evaluate, and improve the Service.
6. How we share information
We share information with service providers and subprocessors who help us operate the Service, such as cloud hosting, communications, and AI infrastructure providers, under confidentiality and data-protection obligations; with your own authorized users; to comply with law or legal process or to protect rights and safety; and in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy. We do not sell personal information.
7. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Data retention
We retain information for as long as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. We delete or de-identify Customer Data after termination in accordance with your agreement, subject to legal retention requirements.
9. Your rights and choices
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. For Customer Data we process on a customer's behalf, please direct requests to that customer. To exercise rights or ask questions, contact partnerships@flipred.ai.
10. Cookies
Our websites use cookies and similar technologies for authentication, preferences, security, and analytics. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling some may affect functionality.
11. Children's privacy
The Service is intended for professional, organizational use, is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
12. International transfers
We may process and store information in the United States and other countries. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international data transfers.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with an updated date.
